Don Ramiro Erazo is 37 years old and works his farm, El Naranjo. During most of his life, Ramiro worked as a picker, living off a daily wage and saving what he could to buy his own piece of land. Three years ago he was able to purchase a small farm in the Municipality of San Lorenzo, and slowly recovered the abandoned Caturra trees in the farm. Ramiro hopes to improve his mill with premiums from specialty coffee and create a small part of the farm that still does not have coffee.
